The Turn Around

This is so brilliant and so simple. As you get clothes out of storage for the upcoming season, hang them in your closet with the hangar facing backwards, and the hook facing towards you. That's right, place each item in your closet with the hangar the "wrong way". Soon, you will notice as you take items out (that you obviously really love) that the pieces you did not choose are still facing backwards.

Get rid of these clothes!! Donate, exchange with friends or take to your closest up-scale consignment boutique! (We especially love Gigi & Company in Morehead City, NC). Now you have room for those J Brand jeans you crave...

PS: This also works well with shoes and boots... place them turned around from how you normally place them. You'll see a pattern develop and can fine tune your closet in no time if you stick to this simple trick each season!

PPS: We love the skinny velvet flocked hangars as they take up much less room overall...
